About Overbeck Auto

When my parents moved to Madisonville, OH they brought with them a passion for customer service that helped them make a name for ourselves in the local auto repair industry. Now that the family business has been entrusted to my care, it’s my goal to continue my father’s mission of always providing our customers with the personalized service they depend on us for. Now, with the help of some amazing team members, I’m proud to own and operate two of the best family-owned garages in the Cincinnati area.

Our Team

Ann

A lot of people say they could never work with their spouse and I have to say that I could never work without my spouse. She has been with me from the beginning before I ever set up shop. Ann is the Office Manager / Service Writer at Overbeck Auto Services and with 40 plus years of business management experience, she has helped take my dream from concept to reality over the past 35 years. She is the shop mom handling everything from payroll, to benefits, to parts ordering and customer service. At some point you will likely speak with Ann throughout your Overbeck Auto Service experience. She has tremendous automotive knowledge and experience and more importantly she knows everything about what is going on in and around the shop. Ann has earned her ASE Automotive Service Consultant certification.

Matt

The apple does not fall far from the tree. I inherited my technical expertise from my parents. With more than 18 years of vehicle repair experience, I grew up in the business working around the shop before I could even drive. My educational background and professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer with 3M has proven useful at Overbeck Auto Services and has allowed me to develop my fabrication, welding, and restoration skills to better serve our customers. I am an ASE Certified Master Automotive Tech, ASE Certified Collision Repair and Refinish Tech, ASE Certified Damage, Analysis, and Estimating Tech, as well as an ACDC Qualified Hybrid Auto Tech.

David

A fixture at Overbeck Auto Services, David has been with us for over 26 years and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. As our Service Manager, David ensures that our team of technicians is on top of your vehicle’s diagnosis and repair. He reports the findings directly to you so you understand the why’s and how’s of the work your vehicle needs. He has a knack for diagnosing and troubleshooting hard to fix vehicles. He has a great ear and strong driving sensitivity, so when we can’t figure out the problem quickly, David will get his stethoscope and use his sixth sense to get to the bottom of the problem. Over the years, David has earned his status as an ASE Certified Master Technician, an ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist, and an ACDC Qualified Master Hybrid Auto tech. There isn’t a problem he hasn’t been able to solve and you can always find the way to his heart with a donut or two.

Pete

As one of the newest additions to the Overbeck Auto Services team, Pete brings with him a wealth of experience. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, from owning his own shop to being head tech at a GM dealership, Pete has fit right in at Overbeck’s. With a strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and the inherent ability to operate the array of scopes and analyzers we have in our diagnostic arsenal, he is a true asset to our team. He is an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician and an ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.

George

George started with us part-time just over a year ago, turning full time in February. George is the “do-all” shop utility man. He handles everything from brake jobs, tire rotations, and oil changes to getting completed cars cleaned for delivery, sometimes even giving customers a ride home. George has a cool, calm attitude and has an eye for detail that is reflected in his work. He is currently working on becoming ASE certified.

BJ

BJ is our beloved purebred black Labrador Retriever. Her title of Greeter really doesn’t do her justice. She is usually the first point of contact a customer, delivery person, or supplier sees when they open the door; that is unless she is in her crate chewing on a rawhide snack. She’s a super friendly dog who loves to be around people. She has been our greeter for the last 7 years and throughout that time she has been trained as a therapeutic partner and often visits hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices bringing cheer to anyone who needs it.
